De Aanschouw

Some of the tools in the werkplaats have been there longer than any one volunteer.


Last week we were invited by Florian Kramer to exhibit, “Collective notes en veel verschijnselen over oude onderdelen” for de Aanschouw @cafe_hensepeter.

Volunteers selected old parts and tools found at the werkplaats and wrote notes. Some describing the tool, the problem with it and a potential solution. Others included anecdotes, poetry and fiction inspired by the part.

At DHZ, volunteers come and go, but parts (broken or not) are forever - sometimes.
